Parulian Dalimunthe dengan tegas menyatakan, gerakan sekolah hijau tidak boleh dimaknai sebatas menanam pohon atau mempercantik halaman sekolah. Lebih dari itu, sekolah hijau harus menjadi gerakan membangun budaya bersih, sehat, hemat energi dan peduli lingkungan yang dimulai dari keteladanan kepala sekolah.<\/p>\n<p>Pesan tersebut disampaikan Wabup H. Parulian Dalimunthe saat membuka Seminar \u201cPeran Kepala Sekolah dalam Menciptakan Sekolah Hijau di Kabupaten Pasaman\u201d, yang digelar di Aula Lantai III Kantor Bupati Pasaman, Rabu (23\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Pasaman, Asisten, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Pasaman, para pengawas SD dan SMP, kepala sekolah SD dan SMP, serta pengurus Kelompok Kerja Sekolah Dasar kecamatan se-Kabupaten Pasaman. Total peserta seminar mencapai 156 orang.<\/p>\n<p>Wabup H. Parulian Dalimunthe mengatakan, konsep sekolah hijau merupakan bagian dari upaya mendukung visi Kabupaten Pasaman, \u201cTerwujudnya Pasaman Bangkit yang Berkarakter, Maju dan Berkelanjutan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Menurutnya, sekolah tidak hanya memiliki tugas meningkatkan kemampuan akademik peserta didik, tetapi juga menjadi ruang untuk membentuk karakter, kreativitas, kepedulian sosial serta kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSekolah hijau bukan sekadar sekolah yang memiliki banyak pohon. Sekolah hijau adalah sekolah yang mampu membangun budaya peduli lingkungan dalam seluruh aktivitasnya,\u201d ujar H. Parulian.<\/p>\n<p>Wabup menilai kepala sekolah memiliki posisi strategis dalam mendorong perubahan budaya di lingkungan pendidikan.
