JAKARTA, marapipost.com<\/strong>-Semangat 28 tahun Reformasi, kembali ditegaskan pemerintah melalui komitmen memperkuat demokrasi, penegakan hukum, penghormatan hak asasi manusia (HAM), serta reformasi institusi negara agar semakin berpihak kepada rakyat.<\/h4>\n

Presiden Prabowo Subianto menegaskan aparat TNI dan Polri harus terus melakukan pembenahan internal dan tidak boleh terlibat dalam praktik-praktik ilegal yang mencederai kepercayaan publik.<\/p>\n

“Panglima TNI, Kapolri, saya tidak mau dengar lagi ada aparat yang tidak menegakkan hukum keadilan dan kebenaran. Tidak boleh backing macam-macam,” kata Presiden Prabowo.<\/p>\n

Presiden juga mengingatkan agar seluruh aparat berani melakukan koreksi dan membersihkan institusi dari berbagai bentuk penyimpangan.<\/p>\n

“Seluruh aparat harus memperbaiki diri, harus membersihkan diri, harus berani koreksi, jangan justru aparat yang di belakang penyelewengan, aparat yang backing penyelewengan, aparat yang backing penyelundupan, backing narkoba, backing judi, backing ilegal ini itu. Jangan sampai begitu,” tegasnya.<\/p>\n

Presiden Prabowo menekankan bahwa TNI dan Polri harus menjadi institusi yang bekerja sepenuhnya untuk kepentingan rakyat.<\/p>\n

“Inilah saya katakan TNI adalah tentara rakyat, polisi kita harus jadi polisi rakyat, dan ini yang sedang dirintis oleh pimpinan-pimpinan Kepolisian sekarang,” ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Sejalan dengan semangat reformasi tersebut, pemerintah juga menegaskan komitmen menjaga kebebasan pers dan penghormatan terhadap HAM sebagai bagian penting dalam membangun demokrasi yang sehat dan berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n

Staf Khusus Menteri HAM, Thomas Harming Suwarta, menegaskan pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto juga memberikan ruang yang kuat bagi pembangunan HAM, termasuk perlindungan terhadap kebebasan pers.<\/p>\n

\u201cPemerintahan Presiden Prabowo yang memberi ruang penting bagi pembangunan HAM sudah otomatis memberi ruang kebebasan pers. Hal itu tidak perlu diragukan lagi,” kata Thomas di Jakarta.<\/p>\n

Thomas menilai kondisi kebebasan pers di Indonesia saat ini terus menunjukkan perkembangan positif, termasuk di tengah perubahan lanskap media dan ledakan arus informasi digital.<\/p>\n

\u201cMedia arus utama yang telah sekian lama bekerja dengan standar jurnalistik yang ketat kami harapkan terus bertumbuh dengan kualitas yang makin membaik,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n

Dalam rangka memperkuat pengarusutamaan HAM, Kementerian HAM juga membuka ruang kolaborasi lebih luas dengan insan pers melalui program literasi dan pelatihan khusus HAM bagi jurnalis.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, Ketua Dewan Pers Komaruddin Hidayat mengatakan momentum kebersamaan insan pers menjadi pengingat penting untuk menjaga profesionalisme dan etika jurnalistik.<\/p>\n

\u201cSebuah komitmen bahwa pers semakin eksis mempertahankan prinsip pers, objektivitas, profesionalitas, dan juga etika,\u201d kata Komaruddin.<\/p>\n

Di sisi lain, Direktur Eksekutif Indonesia Political Review (IPR), Iwan Setiawan, menilai demokrasi Indonesia tetap menunjukkan daya tahan yang kuat di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo.<\/p>\n

\u201cDemokrasi Indonesia yang seringkali dianggap rapuh justru menunjukkan resiliensi atau daya tahan yang luar biasa di bawah komando yang tegas Presiden Prabowo,\u201d ujar Iwan.<\/p>\n

Menurutnya, salah satu indikator penting demokrasi adalah tetap terbukanya ruang kritik dan kebebasan sipil, termasuk di media massa maupun media sosial.<\/p>\n

\u201cDinamika unjuk rasa dan penyampaian pendapat di muka umum juga tetap berjalan sesuai koridor hukum yang berlaku. Aparat keamanan dalam dua tahun terakhir menunjukkan pendekatan yang lebih persuasif dan humanis dalam mengawal aksi massa,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n

Karena itu, masyarakat diimbau menjadikan peringatan Reformasi sebagai momentum memperkuat kedewasaan demokrasi, menjaga persatuan nasional, dan merawat ruang kebebasan yang bertanggung jawab, tanpa provokasi maupun polarisasi yang berpotensi mengganggu stabilitas dan harmoni sosial.[rel]<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
