AGAM,\u00a0marapipost.com<\/a><\/b>-Petugas Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat, Bidang Kesehatan Hewan (Keswan) turun lapangan melaksanakan pengawasan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan hewan yang dipotong memasuki hari-hari hari raya Idul Fitri 1447 H\/2026 M.<\/h4>\n

Kepala Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Agam Ir. Arief Restu, M.Si, menjelaskan Minggu (22\/3\/2026), kebiasaan di Kabupaten Agam, setiap memasuki hari lebaran, penyembelihan hewan jumlahnya meningkat dibanding hari-hari biasa, itu sudah jadi tradisi rutin menjelang Bulan Ramadhan dan Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1447 H untuk menjamin ketersediaan Bahan Pangan Asal Hewan (BPAH) dalam prinsip ASUH (Aman, Sehat, Utuh, dan Halal).<\/p>\n

Pemeriksaan dilaksanakan melalui dua tahapan utama, yaitu antemortem (sebelum pemotongan) dan postmortem (setelah pemotongan). Tujuannya memberika kepastian bahwa hewan yang dipotong itu bebas dari penyakit, khususnya penyakit zoonosis yang berpotensi menular kepada manusia.<\/p>\n

Seiring dengan mengawasan perlu diperketat, baik di Rumah Pemotongan Hewan (RPH) maupun di lokasi pemotongan di luar RPH pada penyembelihan hewan.<\/p>\n

Pengawsn ini dilakukan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Kepala Dinas Pertanian Nomor 022 Tahun 2026, telah ditetapkan Petugas Pengawas dan Pemeriksa Kesehatan Hewan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan selama Bulan Ramadhan dan Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1447 H untuk 16 Kecamatan se-Kabupaten Agam.<\/p>\n

Sampai dengan tanggal 19 Maret 2026, jumlah pemotongan ternak tercatat sebanyak 346 ekor, yang terdiri atas 280 ekor sapi dan 56 ekor kerbau. Jumlah tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 12,70 persen dibandingkan tahun 2025 yang tercatat sebanyak 307 ekor, terdiri dari 267 ekor sapi dan 50 ekor kerbau. Kecamatan dengan jumlah pemotongan ternak tertinggi terdapat di Kecamatan Tanjung Mutiara, yaitu sebanyak 83 ekor.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga disertai dengan upaya edukasi kepada masyarakat dan pelaku usaha pemotongan, antara lain melalui sosialisasi pentingnya pemotongan hewan yang memenuhi standar kesehatan, penerapan prinsip ASUH, serta peningkatan kesadaran terhadap bahaya penyakit zoonosis.<\/p>\n

Edukasi dilakukan secara langsung di lapangan oleh petugas, dengan harapan masyarakat dapat memahami pentingnya menjaga keamanan pangan asal hewan serta mendukung praktik pemotongan yang higienis dan sesuai ketentuan.[lk\/fc]<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
