John Kenedy Azis raih gelar akademik tertinggi Universitas Trisakti Jakarta seetelah menjalankan prosesi yudisium Program Studi Doktor Jumat (8\/8\/2025), Magister, dan Sarjana Ilmu Hukum Semester Genap Tahun Akademik 2024\/2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Kenedy Azis telah berhasil mempertahankan disertasinya pada sidang terbuka promosi doktor digelar pada Jumat (18\/7\/2025). Ia lulus dengan predikat cumlaude, dengan IPK. 3.98 ini menunjukkan capaian akademik yang luar biasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disertasinya berjudul \u201cRekonstruksi Sistem Pemilu Proporsional Terbuka Menjadi Sistem Proporsional Tertutup untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Lembaga Anggota DPR dan Partai Politik yang Berkualitas\u201d, John Kenedy Azis mengkritisi kelemahan sistem pemilu proporsional terbuka yang selama ini berlaku di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rekonstruksi menuju sistem proporsional tertutup adalah langkah strategis untuk memperkuat struktur partai, meningkatkan akuntabilitas, serta mendorong kualitas legislator yang lebih baik di parlemen, ujar John saat memaparkan disertasinya di hadapan tim penguji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gelar Doktor yang disandang John Kenedy Azis semakin member ketegasan atas komitmennya terhadap penguatan sistem demokrasi dan kualitas kelembagaan politik di Indonesia, sekaligus menjadi teladan dalam menyeimbangkan peran sebagai kepala daerah dan akademisi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
