Pengelolaan sampah itu memerlukan berbagai solusi alternatif, seperti peningkatan kesadaran warga sekolah, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, pemilihan metode pengelolaan yang efektif, serta partisipasi aktif dari pemerintah, dunia pendidikan, LSM, dan pelaku usaha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Persoalan itu mengemuka dalam kegiatan Refreshment Program Adiwiyata dan Sosialisasi Proyek Perubahan Peningkatan Partisipasi Pengelolaan Sampah Berbasis Masyarakat (P3SM) yang digelar pada Selasa (3\/6\/2025) di Aula Bapelitbangda, Parik Malintang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Program itu adalah salah satu bentuk komitmen Bupati Padang Pariaman John Kenedy Azis dalam 100 hari masa kepemimpinannya, guna mendorong budaya peduli lingkungan di sekolah melalui penerapan program Adiwiyata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan itu juga jadi bagian implementasi Gerakan Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup di Sekolah (PBLHS) sesuai Peraturan Menteri LHK RI Nomor P.52\/MENLHK\/SETJEN\/KUM.1\/9\/2019. Tujuan utamanya adalah menciptakan sekolah yang peduli dan berbudaya lingkungan hidup, serta meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan yang dibuka secara resmi Bupati Padang Pariaman, diwakil Asisten II Setdakab Padang Pariaman, Yurisman Yakub, SP, MM, dalam sambutannya, menyampaikan harapan, setiap sekolah mampu jadi sekolah bebas sampah dan memiliki sanitasi yang baik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diharpkan pelaksanaan Adiwiyata, terutama terhadap pengelolaan sampah, agar lebih dipahami, terukur, dan transparan. Sehingga partisipasi sekolah akan meningkat, baik dari sisi kualitas maupun kuantitas,\u201d ujar Yurisman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih lanjut, ia menegaskan bahwa semakin banyaknya sekolah yang mengikuti Program Adiwiyata akan sejalan dengan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Padang Pariaman. Tiga Narasumber Paparkan Strategi Lingkungan Sekolah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Narasumber pertama, Syofrion M., SE, M.Si., Kepala DLHPKPP Padang Pariaman, menekankan pentingnya perubahan perilaku siswa untuk memerangi sampah, khususnya sampah plastik. Ia mengingatkan tentang Surat Edaran Bupati Padang Pariaman Nomor 1658\/DLHPKPP\/X\/2024 mengenai pengurangan dan penanganan sampah di seluruh instansi pemerintah.<br><br>\u201cKita dorong kembali budaya lama seperti membawa kambuik ke pasar dan menggunakan botol serta kotak makan sendiri untuk mengurangi sampah plastik sekali pakai,\u201d ujar Syofrion.<br><br>Narasumber kedua, Moh. Sidik Pramono, ST, M.Si., Pengendali Dampak Lingkungan dari Dinas LH Provinsi Sumatera Barat, menjelaskan bahwa status Adiwiyata kini berlaku selama empat tahun dan dapat diperpanjang. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk mendorong sekolah agar terus aktif berinovasi.<br><br>\u201cAdiwiyata bukan perlombaan, melainkan proses membangun karakter siswa yang peduli lingkungan hidup,\u201d tegasnya.
